Distinguished Colleagues and Participants,
We are honoured and happy to invite you to 16th Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery Congress that will be held by our association in November 12-15, 2020 in Belek, Antalya Titanic Hotel Congress Hall.
Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery Association (TKDCD) which was founded in June 29, 1988 by our Honorary President Esteemed Prof. Dr. Aydın Aytaç and our Distinguished Teacher Prof. Dr. Cemil Barlas and their 12 distinguished colleagues, continues its work as an association that has supported education and learning on cardiovascular surgery for more than 30 years, and continues to support scientific studies in its field, national, independent, and without expectation of profit. TKDCD is still structured with 4 organisation committees and 14 study groups, and has more than 1600 active members. Our association is also responsible with published three respectable peer-reviewed journals. The fact that our journal within the scope of SCI-Expanded is included in PubMed from this year on is also another source of pride for us.
TKDCD Congresses is an interdisciplinary platform that is generally seen as the most important national academic activity for our speciality. In recent years, more than 2500 cardiovascular surgeon, other faculty specialists, basic researchers, perfusionists, biomedical engineers, nurses, coordinators, and medical school students have participated in our congress. International speakers who are global leaders in their fields will bring scientific share to topmost level. We also want you to know that we will try to include tasks for all centres in our country and especially our young colleagues while preparing the programme.
While organising 16th TKDCD Congress, we will do our utmost to prepare an organisation that is worthy of the principles of The Founder of our Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and values of our elders who entrusted this association to us.
